The shoot

One long summer day with Imre and Chris, photographed from the first brush of make-up in the morning to the bouquet toss after dark.

Most of the day was shot documentary-style: getting ready at home, a portrait walk through a park with tree-lined avenues, a blue bridge and a meadow of wildflowers, the ceremony in a historic town hall and a garden party under festoon lights. Everything was edited in one muted, filmic grade so the full set of almost 200 photos reads as a single story.
